I’m extremely happy with this purchase after trying a different brand (the clear raw wood drawer in my photos) this one has superior manufacturing quality with a perceivable smoother opening and close and small finish like parallel drawers lids when seen laterally as you can compare them in my images.
Handle:
On top of that this product circular handle is miles better than the plain flat wood which is too smooth without any carvings to help you grip using two fingers while opening the drawer it just slips so you actually need to grab them left and right instead of top/bottom to use the raw exposed wood grains as gripping texture.
Drawer functionality: the drawer tolerances are superior I don’t feel the left-right jiggle of my other model that sometimes makes the drawer to get stuck halfway.
Finishing: The clear wood one also feels somewhat unfinished lacking a minimally expected hand of clear varnish to boost the wood durability.
Drawer compartment size:
Surprised how good it is for calligraphy stuff. For example you can pile LAMY cartridge boxes and fit them perfectly either in “portrait or landscape” as you see in my photos. I bought little plastic boxes of 0. 7” height they fit perfectly. I’m not sure 0. 8” height will make it I wouldn’t try.
I will be buying this again and plan to ditch the clear wooded one but I wish they offered at least one model comprising one oversized (taller) drawer like the one in my clear wood for stuff like a Sharpie magnum that won’t fit in these.
Value for money is 100%!
